  1. This is the reason hockey will forever be the best sport

  2. Thank you NHL and fans for all your support. I couldn’t imagine what the people directly involved in this tragedy are going through. As a resident of Saskatchewan and former player of Saskatchewan minor and Senior hockey I road the bus on those same roads. It’s taken a little chunk away from us all. The distance between rinks here can be 5hrs or more. A lot of kids have spent a lot of time on these buses.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of everyone involved, players, coaches, bus driver, team personnel and the first responders and the Community of Humboldt.

  3. We attended an AHL game last night, The Texas Stars vs the Rockford Ice Hogs...they too did a nice tribute 😞❀️

  4. This is a tragedy! When you are a hockey parent, you're not a hockey parent of one player, you are a hockey parent for all of the players.

  5. My son’s hockey peewee team, Laval Nord Coyotes, will give their team funds to the Broncos families β€οΈπŸ™

  6. Just another reason that hockey is my favorite sport. They aren’t just amazing athletes, they’re amazing people.

  7. Watched the oilers vs canucks game last night..and for the anthem all the players for the starting lineup stood around centre ice .. in solidarity for Humboldt..
This should become the new standard for ALL games played .. such a classy and respectful way to show that outside the game they are human beings. I hope the Nhl adopts this for next year !

  8. When tragedy strikes it doesn't matter what your religious or political believes are, the fact that were human and all searching for our paths together is...as we mourn the loss of some innocent undeserving humans...lets please let this incident to help us over come personal preferences and come together and be a more caring human race...May god keep the bronco's and all involved

  9. Heart breaking story, when your excited about the game in front of you, as a parent of a child in traveling sports you don’t ever expect this as a result. You expect to see your child again. When I first saw this report It gave me chills thinking how many times my child has traveled up and down the road to games. These parents, players and families need our prayers and support.

  10. Sending love from Belize. I don’t know these kids, but they’re just like I was at their age, chasing their dream of being in the NHL, so we’re family. RIP dudes.

  11. You can add a temporary frame to your profile picture that honors the Broncos. I did. Much love from hockey fans and supporters everywhere.

  12. So very sad. This is why the hockey community is the best. Such class by the Jets and Hawks to wear the jerseys. And thank you to all teams around the league. Love to Humboldt. ❀️

  14. Every single one of us know the feeling of β€œit could have been me...my daughter, my son, my husband, by brother, my sister....”. As the kids grow up the feeling of β€œ it could have been ...”doesn’t fade”; its a sense of knowing how precious life truly is. This tragic event allows us the opportunity to remain humble for the love of the game, the players, the families, the community (s) of hockey hero’s. Hero’s in us all.

  15. Truly heartbreaking. The NHL and it's players showed last night why they have the best sport and the best fans on earth. They came together to embrace a small town in Saskatchewan and let them know that they will not have to go though this alone. #WeAreAllBroncos #PrayForHumboldt

  20. Filipino Wild fan here! It hurts to see young hockey players lives' cut short like that not just because of the pain caused to their family and friends and community, but also because we never got to see them develop fully as players and most importantly as people! RIP to all who perished in that crash, and prayers for those hurt directly by this! #SaskatchewanStrong

  21. I work for my hometown OHL hockey team, and I have to say watching this video is amazing. However, hearing what happened to the Broncos is truly heartbreaking. 22. This is is heart breaking . Now I think of recovering players & how their home life will be changed and effected . How they can be helped to heal . I hope those who are paralyzed or wheel chair bound will receive some help in maybe having a lift system installed into their homes to help move them about the house & into the rest rooms . I work with disabilities in people it can be a struggle . A lift / track system can be very beneficial for everyone at home . Sending so much love & prayers to the players family & friends and community . πŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ’– amazing job nhl for helping with Funds . Very loving kind & classy of everyone .
